Axles, Wheels and Tires

Two heavy duty drive axles with limited slip differentials that engage automatically in slippery conditions. Front and rear axle lock up is operator selectable for best traction in severe conditions.

Standard tires are 20.5 R 25 bi-directional, fitted to 5 piece rims.

Brakes

Fully hydraulic braking system operating with multi-plate wet disc brakes on all wheels with independent circuits for front and rear brakes.

The park brake is spring applied and hydraulically

released integrated into the transmission.

Suspension

The unique front independent suspension allows both vertical and oscillating axle movement. Front and rear axle vertical travel is achieved by adjustable and cushioned oil/nitrogen suspension cylinders for excellent shock absorption.

Oscillating movement is by rubber bushing to provide excellent traction.

Steering

Hydraulically operated articulated frame steering.

Twin double acting steering cylinders allow articulated steering in both directions. Secondary steering is standard.

Cab

Steel constructed to current ROPS/FOPS standards, centrally located and rubber mounted with air conditioning and sound suppression as standard to enhance operator comfort. Sloped engine hood provides the operator with the best forward visibility.

Chassis/Body

The chassis consists of front and rear frames joined together by a heavy duty coupling which allows both articulation and oscillation between the two sections. Front and rear frames are fabricated from high tensile steel box sections and plates. The universal coupling is constructed from high tensile steel plates and incorporates a heavy duty turn table bearing and four taper roller bearings.

Construction of the body is from tempered wear

resistant Hardox® 400 steel plates. Twin multistage
