The machine shown is a 4
wheel drive agricultural
sprayer chassis that allows
the rear wheels to track
exactly where the front
wheels have imprinted; this
is done by means of centre
pivot articulated steering.
The Ford tractor “donor
vehicle” is adapted to give
rear wheel “ground drive”
through use of the tractors
P.T.O. stub shaft, this
gives true 1:1 shaft driven
4 wheel drive. Engagement is
by means of a hydraulic
clutch in the rear chassis.
The articulation hinge is
also capable of giving “yaw”
movement between front &
rear rigid axles.
